August Prayer Requests of Local Missionaries

Lawas Care Centre – Kong Moi Fah

  1. Pray for the children who will be going home in mid of August. Hope that the children will return to the center again after school holidays.
  2. Pray for the exam candidates – Jessica (SPM), Yornee, Solumi (PT3), Alvinie, Yosua, Imanwell (UPSR), Liliani, and Robina (MPI).
  3. Pray for the health of our cook, Ibu Debora (high blood pressure). Currently, she is discharged from hospital.
  4. Pray for the salvation of my family members.

Ulu Julau, Matob – Ling Fang Fang

  1. A leadership training camp will be held at Matob. Pray that the Lord will strengthen the confidence of church members and hope that they can participate in the camp actively.
  2. Pray for the number of youth fellowship to be stable. May God keep their confidence and to rely on Him.
  3. Pray for the young people who participate in the 3 months short-term mission from January to March next year. There are three people signing up at present. Pray that they have the confidence to look up to God and persevere to the end.
  4. Pray for my health.
  5. Pray for the good co-opreation among fellow workers.
  6. A short-term team from Taiwan will participate in the local short-term mission trip in August. Pray for their safe arrival and the mission trip to go smoothly.
  7. CKS team will hold a camp “Revival of the Hornbill Township” from 31st August to 2nd September. Pray that God will lead more people to participate in the camp.

Sarikei – Chua Koh Kui and Ling Leng King

  1. Pray for short-term mission trip to Hariyama CPO Mill on 10-11/8/19.
  2. Pray for the discussion of Ulu Layar mission ministry with SIAC superintendent in Sarikei on 6/8/19 noon and the short-term mission trip meeting at En Tao Methodist Church in the evening.
  3. We are still planning the Ulu Layar short-term mission trip on 15-18/8/19. Pray for God’s guidance to move more people to go. If the plan is unsuccessful, we will go to Sg Rian on 17-18/8/19.
  4. Pray for our trip to Kuala Tatau/Balingian on 26/8/19.
  5. We will go to Lawas Care Center on 28/8/19-10/9/19. Pray that the Lord will look after our journeys to and fro as well as having good teamwork with the fellow workers at the center.

Lawas Care Centre

  1. Pray for the spiritual growth of children. Pray that they are more eager for the Word of God and understand that they trust in the omnipotent God.
  2. Pray for good collaboration among fellow workers and their spiritual and physical health. Pray that God will also give us wisdom to manage the center and discipline the children.

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – Jason Siew (volunteer)

  1. Pray for the short-term mission team to Lubok Antu on 12/08/2019-16/08/2019.
  2. Pray for good weather and journey mercy to Lubok Antu.
  3. Pray that the longhouse people are ready to listen to the Word of God.
  4. Pray for the short-term team members who share personal testimony. May their testimonies touch the hearts of people in the longhouses. 

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – Nguang Sii Khing (volunteer)

  1. Pray for Sungai Rian gathering from 10th to 11th August:
  • Pray that God will keep the longhouse people a fervent heart, look upon God and listen to His words.
  • Pray for transportation arrangements.
  • Pray for my physical health (back pain problem).

Sibujaya – Ting Mee Hung

  1. Pray for the young people who will be participating in the CKS camp, hope that they can understand the salvation of Christ and accept Him.
  2. During the August school holidays, the children will return to the longhouse. Pray that God will grant them journey mercy back and forth. Some youths will be going to work. Pray for God’s protection to be upon them in their work.
  3. Continue to pray for the needs of human resources in Sibujaya. There are about 10 students in tuition class at present. Although the students are not many, the ages are different (from primary school to secondary school). I cannot accompany each one of them alone. Pray that God will touch more people to come to the tuition class to accompany the children to do their homework.

West Kuching District Hakka Ministry – Chai Kian Ching and Chai Sheau Hong

  1. Thanksgiving
    1. The ministry in each district went smoothly in July with the protection of the Lord. Thank God that we met 65 new faces and 8 old faces. 4 decided to receive Christ (3 West Kalimantan Indonesia Hakka, 1 Foochow)
  2. Intercession
    1. In Batu Kawa, we plan to enter Kim Choo Seng area (we should have entered Kim Choo Seng area in July, but then mistakenly entered Segubang area). Pray that God will open the way and door for us.
    2. While we enter Kim Choo Seng area in Batu Kawa, we also plan to go back to Pei Yuan Road to make further friendships with the people there and strengthen our friendship. Pray for God’s mercy.
    3. Pray for the location and date of the planned Gospel Tea Gathering in September. May God finalize it.
    4. Pray that God will strengthen the manpower of Hakka ministry (currently growing).
    5. Pray that God will continue to keep our body, mind, and spirit strong.

Doa Misionari Ogos

Lawas Care Centre – Kong Moi Fah

  1. Berdoa untuk kanak-kanak yang akan pulang pada pertengahan bulan Ogos. Semoga mereka akan kembali ke pusat lagi selepas cuti sekolah.
  2. Berdoa untuk calon-calon peperiksaan – Jessica (SPM), Yornee, Solumi (PT3), Alvinie, Yosua, Imanwell (UPSR), Liliani dan Robina (MPI).
  3. Berdoa untuk kesihatan tukang masak kami, Ibu Debora (tekanan darah tinggi). Kini, dia sudah dibenarkan keluar hospital.
  4. Berdoa untuk keselamatan jiwa anggota keluarga saya.

Ulu Julau, Matob – Ling Fang Fang

  1. Kem latihan kepimpinan akan diadakan di Matob. Berdoa agar Tuhan menguatkan keyakinan para ahli gereja supaya mereka menyertai kem tersebut secara aktif.
  2. Berdoa agar kehadiran Persaudaraan Belia stabil. Berdoa untuk golongan muda supaya mereka mempunyai keyakinan untuk bergantung kepada Tuhan.
  3. Berdoa untuk golongan muda yang mengambil bahagian dalam program misi jangka pendek dari Januari hingga Mac tahun depan. Terdapat tiga orang yang mendaftar pada masa ini. Berdoa agar mereka mempunyai keyakinan untuk bergantung kepada Tuhan dan bertekad hingga akhir.
  4. Berdoa untuk kesihatan saya.
  5. Berdoa untuk kerjasama yang baik di kalangan rakan sekerja.
  6. Pasukan jangka pendek dari Taiwan akan mengambil bahagian dalam misi jangka pendek tempatan pada bulan Ogos. Berdoa untuk ketibaan selamat mereka dan supaya misi tersebut berjalan dengan lancar.
  7. Pasukan CKS akan mengadakan kem “Bangkitlah Sarawak” dari 31 Ogos hingga 2 September. Berdoa agar Tuhan memimpin lebih ramai orang untuk menyertai kem tersebut.

Sarikei – Chua Koh Kui dan Ling Leng King 

  1. Berdoa untuk misi jangka pendek ke Hariyama CPO Mill pada 10-11/8/19.
  2. Kami masih merancang misi jangka pendek Ulu Layar pada 15-18/8/19. Berdoa untuk kebimbingan Tuhan untuk menggerakkan lebih ramai orang pergi. Jika rancangan itu tidak berjaya, kami akan pergi ke Sg Rian pada 17-18/8/19.
  3. Berdoa untuk perjalanan kami ke Kuala Tatau/Balingian pada 26/8/19.
  4. Kami akan pergi ke Pusat Penjagaan Lawas pada 28/8/19-10/9/19. Berdoa agar Tuhan menjaga perjalanan kami pergi balik dan juga mempunyai kerja berpasukan yang baik dengan rakan sekerja di pusat.

Lawas Care Centre

  1. Berdoa untuk pertumbuhan kerohanian kanak-kanak. Berdoa agar mereka lebih berminat dalam Firman Allah dan memahami bahawa mereka mempercayai Tuhan yang maha kuasa.
  2. Berdoa untuk kerjasama yang baik di kalangan rakan sekerja dan kesihatan rohani dan fizikal mereka. Berdoa juga agar Tuhan memberi kami kebijaksanaan untuk mengurus pusat dan mendisiplin kanak-kanak.

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – Jason Siew

  1. Berdoa untuk pasukan misi jangka pendek di Lubok Antu pada 12/8/2019-16/8/2019.
  2. Berdoa untuk cuaca yang baik dan perjalanan ke Lubok Antu.
  3. Berdoa agar penduduk-penduduk rumah panjang bersedia untuk mendengar Firman Tuhan.
  4. Berdoa untuk ahli-ahli pasukan misi jangka pendek yang berkongsi kesaksian peribadi. Semoga kesaksian mereka menyentuh hati penduduk-penduduk di rumah panjang.

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – Nguang Sii Khing

  1. Berdoa untuk perjumpaan persaudaraan Sungai Rian dari 10 hingga 11 Ogos:
  • Berdoa agar Tuhan memelihara hati orang-orang rumah panjang supaya mereka menumpukan perhatian kepada Tuhan dan mendengar firman-Nya.
  • Berdoa untuk pengaturan pengangkutan.
  • Berdoa untuk kesihatan fizikal saya (masalah sakit belakang).

Sibujaya – Ting Mee Hung

  1. Berdoa untuk golongan muda yang akan mengambil bahagian dalam kem CKS. Semoga mereka dapat memahami keselamatan Kristus dan menerima-Nya.
  2. Semasa cuti sekolah bulan Ogos, kanak-kanak akan kembali ke rumah panjang. Berdoa supaya Tuhan memelihara mereka. Beberapa belia akan bekerja. Berdoa agar Tuhan melindungi mereka dalam kerja mereka.
  3. Terus berdoa untuk keperluan sumber manusia di Sibujaya. Terdapat kira-kira 10 pelajar dalam kelas tambahan pada masa ini. Walaupun pelajar tidak ramai, tetapi umur mereka berbeza (dari sekolah rendah hingga sekolah menengah). Saya tidak dapat menemani mereka satu demi satu. Berdoa agar Tuhan membangkitkan lebih ramai orang datang ke kelas tambahan untuk menemani kanak-kanak membuat kerja rumah mereka.

Pelayanan Hakka Kuching Daerah Barat – Chai Kian Ching dan Chai Sheau Hong

  1. Kesyukuran
    1. Dengan perlindungan dan penjagaan Tuhan, pelayanan di setiap kawasan berjalan lancar pada bulan Julai. Syukur kepada Tuhan kerana kami telah bertemu dengan 65 orang baru dan 8 orang lama. 4 orang memutuskan untuk menerima Kristus (3 Hakka Kalimantan Barat Indonesia, 1 Foochow)
  2. Doa
    1. Di kawasan Batu Kawa, kami merancang untuk masuk ke kawasan Kim Choo Seng (kami sepatutnya memasuki kawasan Kim Choo Seng pada bulan Julai, tetapi tersilap masuk ke kawasan Segubang). Berdoa agar Tuhan membuka jalan dan pintu untuk kami.
    2. Semasa kami masuk ke Kim Choo Seng di kawasan Batu Kawa, kami juga bercadang untuk kembali ke Jalan Pei Yuan untuk membina hubungan persahabatan dengan penduduk di situ dan mengukuhkan persahabatan kami. Berdoa untuk kasih Tuhan.
    3. Berdoa untuk lokasi dan tarikh Jamuan Ringan Injil yang dirancang pada bulan September. Semoga Tuhan memimpin.
    4. Berdoa agar Tuhan menambahkan lebih ramai tenaga pelayanan Hakka (terdapat pertumbuhan masa ini).
    5. Berdoa agar Tuhan terus memelihara tubuh, minda dan roh kami.

八月份宣教士代祷事项

Lawas Care Centre – 江梅花

  1. 为著八月份中孩子们各自回家，代祷。希望孩子们会再次回到中心。
  2. 为著会考生代祷。
  • Jessica ( SPM),  Yornee, Solumi ( PT3 ), Alvinie, Yosua, Imanwell (UPSR),  Liliani,Robina ( 毕理学院 ) 。
  • 为著我们的 Ibu Debora ( 厨师 )身体健康 ( 高血压 )代祷。（目前已出院修养。）
  1. 为著我的家人灵魂代祷。

Ulu Julau, Matop – 林芳芳

  1. 在Matop将举办领袖训练营，求主坚固会友的信心，希望他们能够积极参与这个营会。
  2. 为着青少团，少团人数稳定祷告，愿神保守他们有信心依靠上帝。
  3. 为着会参加明年1月至3月的短宣课程的青年人祷告。目前有三位报名参加，为着他们有信心仰望神，坚持到底。
  4. 为着我的身体健康祷告。
  5. 为着同工彼此之间能够有美好的配搭而祷告。
  6. 8月份将有台湾短宣队来参与短宣。为着他们能够平安顺利抵达而祷告。也求神保守该短宣的行程能够顺利进行。
  7. CKS团队将在8月31号至9月2号举办“复兴犀鸟之乡”的营会，求神带领会有更多的人来参与营会。

Sarikei – 蔡国贵和林莲钦夫妇

10-11/8/19去Hariyama CPO Mill短宣

  1. 6/8/19中午要去Sarikei和SIAC教区长开会商讨Ulu Layar宣教事工及晚间在恩道堂短宣会议祷告。
  2. 还在策划当中的15-18/8/19去Ulu Layar短宣的队祷告 求主带领感动更多的人愿意去。如果不成功我们将在15-16/8/19去Belaga及17-18/8/19会去Sg Rian。
  3. 26/8/19去Kuala Tatau/Balingian
  4. 28/8/19-10/9/19会去老越关怀中心 求主保守看顾我们来回的路程及在中心的时候与同工之间有好的配搭。

  1. 学校假期孩子们回乡路途平安，享受与父母相处的时光，以及回来中心路途有平安，重新适应中心的生活。
  2. 会考生:

  1. 孩子们的灵命成长，更渴慕神话语，明白自己信靠的是无所不能的神。
  2. 同工们的配搭和身心灵健康。有智慧管理中心，管教孩子。

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – 萧信安 (义务宣教士/本处传道)

  1. 为着12/08/2019-16/08/2019出发前往Lubok Antu的短宣队祷告。
  2. 为晴朗的天气和怜悯之旅祷告。
  3. 祈祷长屋的居民们预备好自己的心聆听上帝的话。
  4. 为着分享个人见证的短宣队队员祷告，愿他们的见证分享能触动居民们的心。

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – 阮斯钦 (义务宣教士)

  1. 为8月10日至11日的Sungai Rian聚会代祷：
  • 求神保守当地居民拥有火热的心仰望神，专心聆听祂的话语。
  • 为着交通的安排来祷告。
  • 为着我的身体健康代祷。（背痛的问题）

Sibujaya – 陈玫凤

  1.  为这即将参与CKS营会的少年人祷告，盼望他们可以在当中明白救恩并接受。
  2.  8月假期孩子们会回长屋，求生保守他们来回的路程；一些少年人会去打工，求神在他们工作当中保护保守他们。
  3. 继续为人力资源的需求祷告，现在辅助班是10个左右学生，虽然人数不多，可是年龄都不一样，从小学到中学，我一个人无法陪到每一个，求神感动更多人来辅助班陪孩子们做功课。

古晋西教区客语事工 – 蔡建清和蔡晓虹夫妇

  1. 感恩
    1. 蒙主的保守及眷顾，七月份在各区的事工顺利进行。感谢主我们前后接触到65新面孔，8旧脸孔。4位决志(印尼西加客家人，1位福洲人)
  2. 代祷
    1. 在石角地区方面，我们将进入金珠盛客家村(本来七月份就该进入金珠盛，但后误入思故邦客家村)，求神为我们开路和开门。
    2. 在石角地区方面，在去金珠盛的同时，我们也计划再次回去培元路，与村民做进一步的交谊，坚固友情。求神开恩。
    3. 为计划中的福音茶会(九月份)的地点和日期祷告，求神亲自敲定。
    4. 求神加强客家事工的阵容(目前已有增长)。
    5. 求神继续保守我们的身、心、灵都健壮。
