March Prayer Requests of Local Missionaries

Lawas Care Centre – Kong Moi Fah

  1. Pray for students who are sitting for their exams this year. Jessica (SPM), Yornee, Solumi (PT3), Alvinie, Yosua, Imanwell (UPSR).
  2. Pray for the strength and wisdom from God upon our fellow workers to teach.
  3. Pray for my physical and spiritual health.

Ulu Julau, Matop – Ling Fang Fang

  1. Pray for Brother Sangar who is undergoing chemotherapy (in the fourth stage of blood cancer) and having appetite loss.
  2. Pray for Brother Kumie as he has itchy skin and feels cold and hot at night. The doctor cannot find the causes of the illness. 
  3. Pray for the unity of our fellow workers.
  4. Pray for the spiritual life of the Ibans who rarely come to the church to worship God recently. Pray that they will come back to God.
  5. Lastly, pray for my health and journey mercies to the longhouses. 

Sarikei – Chua Koh Kui and Ling Leng King

  1. Thank God for leading us in our three months sabbatical. Pray that the Lord will continue to lead us in the journey ahead. 
  2. We will go to Ulu Pakan longhouses to have worship service from 14th to 16th March as well as leading short-term mission team to Tunoh, Ulu Kapit from 25th to 29th March. No matter wherever we go, pray that the Lord will grant us journey mercy. At some places we need to walk for 2-3 hours to reach there. Pray for good weather and a healthy body to continue to run for the sake of the gospel. Pray also for the Lord to prepare the hearts of the longhouse residents to receive and listen to His Word.
  3. Ask the Lord to lead our four local missionaries (Chua Koh Kui, Ling Leng King, Jason Siew and Nguang Sii Khing) to be able to collaborate well with Rev Ansor. We have arranged to go to Saratok-Ng Budu, Ulu Pakan, Ulu Julau-Entabai and Lubok Antu every month. Some are still in the process of arrangement.

Lawas Care Centre

  1. Pray that the children will prepare well for their first semester exam. Pray also for a safe journey back home during school holidays after the exam.
  2. Pray for the spiritual growth of the children, one of whom has not accepted Jesus as his Savior.
  3. Pray also for the health of the children.
  4. Pray for good cooperation among the fellow workers; and their physical and spiritual health.

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – Jason Siew (volunteer)

  1. Pray that our local missionaries can work closely with SIAC and Korean Methodist pastors and missionary to seek the lost souls in the interior.
  2. Pray for young Christian couples to exemplify loving and stable marriages.
  3. Pray for the conditions of the roads to be safe for travelling. 

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – Nguang Sii Khing (volunteer)

  1. Pray for the preparations for the Ulu Entawau short term mission trip (18th-21st May). Currently experiencing transportation arrangement and liaison difficulties.
  2. Ask the Lord to give me wisdom to complete each task (a prepared heart to share the Word of God with the interior indigenous people).
  3. Pray for my health. I sprained my heel recently. I met the doctor and now waiting for recovery.

Sibujaya – Ting Mee Hung

  1. We are still preparing a new gathering point. This gathering point will be a learning and service center.
  2. There is currently a shortage of teachers. We ask God to prepare committed tuition teachers and teachers of interest classes.
  3. We are currently looking for teenagers as well. Pray that God will lead us in finding the lost sheep.
  4. Sunday school will also be transferred to the new gathering point after that. Pray that the children can adapt to the new environment and will still come to the gathering constantly.

West Kuching District Hakka Ministry – Chai Kian Ching and Chai Sheau Hong

  1. Thank God that in February (until February 28), we had reached out to 33 new Hakka. The plans and strategies of Hakka Gospel Ministry have been successfully shared in Malihah Methodist Church, Matang Methodist Church, Zhu En Methodist Church, Petra Methodist Church and Siniawan Methodist Church.
  2. Pray for the gospel dinner at Pei Yuan Road in the evening of March 15. Pray that the Holy Spirit will do the work of loosening the soil in the hearts of their families and the seeds of gospel will grow.
  3. Ask God to strengthen the gospel team.

Doa Misionari Mac

Lawas Care Centre – Kong Moi Fah

  1. Berdoa untuk calon-calon peperiksaan. Jessica (SPM), Yornee, Solumi (PT3), Alvinie, Yosua, Imanwell (UPSR).
  2. Berdoa untuk kekuatan dan kebijaksanaan dari Tuhan kepada rakan sekerja kami untuk mengajar.
  3. Berdoa untuk kesihatan fizikal dan rohani saya.

Ulu Julau, Matop – Ling Fang Fang

  1. Berdoa untuk Saudara Sangar yang sedang menjalani kemoterapi (di peringkat keempat kanser darah) dan hilang selera makan.
  2. Berdoa untuk Saudara Kumie yang kulitnya menjadi gatal dan badannya mengalami sejuk panas pada waktu malam. Doktor tidak dapat menemui punca penyakit tersebut.
  3. Berdoa untuk hati yang bersatu di kalangan rakan sekerja kami.
  4. Berdoa untuk kerohanian orang Iban yang jarang datang ke gereja untuk menyembah Tuhan baru-baru ini. Berdoa agar mereka kembali kepada Tuhan.
  5. Akhirnya, berdoa untuk kesihatan dan keselamatan saya dalam perjalanan ke rumah panjang.

Sarikei – Chua Koh Kui dan Ling Leng King 

  1. Puji Tuhan kerana memimpin kami dalam tiga bulan sabatikal. Berdoa agar Tuhan terus memimpin kami dalam perjalanan masa depan.
  2. Kami akan pergi ke rumah panjang Ulu Pakan untuk beribadat dari 14 hingga 16 Mac dan juga memimpin pasukan misi jangka pendek ke Tunoh, Ulu Kapit dari 25 hingga 29 Mac.

Tidak kira di mana kami pergi, berdoa agar Tuhan menjaga perjalanan kami. Sesetengah tempat tidak dapat sampai dengan kereta, kami perlu berjalan selama 2 hingga 3 jam untuk sampai sana. Berdoa untuk cuaca yang baik dan badan yang sihat untuk terus berjalan demi Injil. Berdoa agar Tuhan menyediakan hati penduduk rumah panjang untuk menerima dan mendengar Firman-Nya.

  1. Minta Tuhan untuk memimpin empat misionari setempat (Chua Koh Kui, Ling Leng King, Jason Siew and Nguang Sii Khing) supaya dapat berkolaborasi baik dengan Rev Ansor. Kami telah mengatur untuk pergi ke Saratok-Ng Budu, Ulu Pakan, Ulu Julau-Entabai, Lubok Antu setiap bulan dan ada yang masih dalam pengaturan. 

Lawas Care Centre

  1. Berdoa agar kanak-kanak bersedia untuk peperiksaan semester pertama mereka. Berdoa juga untuk perjalanan yang selamat balik ke kampung semasa cuti sekolah selepas peperiksaan. 
  2. Berdoa untuk pertumbuhan rohani kanak-kanak, salah seorang dari mereka belum menerima Yesus sebagai Juruselamatnya.
  3. Berdoa untuk kesihatan kanak-kanak.
  4. Berdoa untuk kerjasama antara rakan sekerja; dan kesihatan fizikal dan rohani mereka.

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – Jason Siew

  1. Berdoa agar misionari setempat kami dapat bekerja rapat dengan pastor dan misionari SIAC dan Methodist Korea untuk mencari jiwa yang sesat di kawasan pedalaman.
  2. Berdoa untuk pasangan Kristian muda untuk mencontohi perkahwinan yang matang dan stabil.
  3. Berdoa untuk keadaan jalan raya dalam perjalanan kami. 

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – Nguang Sii Khing

  1. Berdoa untuk persiapan jangka misi pendek Ulu Entawau pada 18 hingga 21 Mei. Kini mengalami kesulitan pengaturan pengangkutan dan perhubungan.
  2. Minta Tuhan memberi saya kebijaksanaan untuk menyelesaikan setiap tugas (bersedia untuk berkongsi Firman Tuhan dengan orang bumiputra pedalaman).
  3. Berdoa untuk kesihatan saya. Baru-baru ini saya terseliuh tumit saya dan telah jumpa doktor. Kini sedang menunggu pemulihan.

Sibujaya – Ting Mee Hung

  1. Satu tempat perhimpunan yang baru masih disediakan dan tempat itu akan menjadi pusat pembelajaran dan perkhidmatan.
  2. Pada masa ini terdapat kekurangan guru. Minta Tuhan untuk menyediakan guru-guru tuisyen dan juga guru-guru kelas minat.
  3. Berdoa agar Tuhan memimpin kami dalam pencarian remaja yang sesat di dalam-Nya.
  4. Sekolah Minggu juga akan dipindahkan ke tempat perhimpunan baru selepas itu. Berdoa agar kanak-kanak dapat menyesuaikan diri dengan persekitaran yang baru dan akan datang untuk berkumpul secara berterusan.

Pelayanan Hakka Kuching Daerah Barat – Chai Kian Ching dan Chai Sheau Hong

  1. Bersyukur kepada Tuhan kerana pada bulan Februari (hingga 28 Februari), kami telah menjangkau 33 orang Hakka baru. Rancangan dan strategi penginjilan kepada orang Hakka telah berjaya dikongsi di Gereja Methodist Malihah, Gereja Methodist Matang, Gereja Methodist Zhu En, Gereja Methodist Petra dan Gereja Methodist Siniawan.
  2. Berdoa untuk malam injil di Jalan Pei Yuan pada petang 15 Mac. Berdoa agar Roh Kudus akan melakukan kerja melonggarkan tanah di dalam hati keluarga mereka dan benih-benih injil akan bertumbuh.
  3. Minta Tuhan untuk menguatkan pasukan injil Hakka.

三月份宣教士代祷事项

Lawas Care Centre – 江梅花

  1. 为著会考生 Jessica (SPM), Yornee, Solumi (PT3), Alvinie, Yosua, Imanwell (UPSR)。
  2. 为着我们同工精神体力，额外的聪明智慧来教导。
  3. 为著我身，心，灵，代祷

Ulu Julau, Matop – 林芳芳

  1. 为着（面对着第四期血癌）化疗中，没有胃口进食的Sangar弟兄祷告。
  2. 为面对着晚上皮肤发痒，身体会发冷发热（医生查不出病情原因）的Kumie弟兄祷告。
  3. 为着即将在3月6日前往Matop的台湾短宣队来祷告，求上帝带领他们的路程平安到达。
  4. 来临3月6日会为台湾短宣队翻译来祷告，求上帝赐予我聪明智慧做好翻译的工作。
  5. 为着同工能够彼此配搭来祷告。
  6. 为着Iban同胞的属灵生命来祷告，他们现在很少来到教会敬拜上帝，为他们能够回转向神来祷告。
  7. 最后为着我的健康，为着前往服事的长屋以及交通的安全来祷告。

Sarikei – 蔡国贵和林莲钦夫妇 

  1. 感谢主带领我们三个月的速职 前面的路程求主继续带领我们。我们08-11/3/18 将带领西马加影卫理公会牧师及弟兄姐妹去Ulu Layar长屋考察。14-16/3/19去Ulu Pakan长屋崇拜。25-29/3/19带领短宣队去Tunoh，Ulu Kapit。无论我们去那里都求主保守看顾我们那遥远的路程（有的车不能到还要行走2-3个小时）赐给我们有好的天气 有健康的身体继续为主的福音而奔跑。更求主预备好长屋居民的心来接待/聆听主的话语。
  2. 也求主带领我们四个本地宣教士、（Jason Siew、阮斯欽）Rev Ansor有好的配搭。我们每个月将会安排去Saratok-Ng Budu、 Ulu Pakan，Ulu Julau-Entabai、Lubok Antu 及有的还在安排当中。

Lawas Care Centre 

  1. 为学校第一阶段考试，孩子们能认真预备来祷告。考试后，在学校假期，回去的路途有平安。
  2. 为孩子们的灵命成长祷告，当中有一个孩子还没接受耶稣为他救主。
  3. 为孩子们的健康祷告。
  4. 为同工们的配搭和身心灵健康祷告。

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – 萧信安 (义务宣教士/本处传道)

  1. 为本地宣教士能够与SIAC和韩国卫里在内陆寻找失散的灵魂能够密切合作来祷告。
  2. 为年轻的基督徒夫妇祷告，以体现爱和稳定的婚姻。
  3. 为着道路的状况来祷告，愿上帝保守在旅程当中的安全。

Lubok Antu, Sarikei – 阮斯钦 (义务宣教士)

  1. 为着Ulu Entawau短宣（5月18日-5月21日）的筹备工作来祷告。目前遇到重重困难（安排交通以及联络方面）
  2. 求主给予我聪明智慧来完成每一项任务（预备好心与内陆原住民分享上帝的话语）
  3. 为我的健康来祷告。（最近后脚跟扭到，也看了医生，等待痊愈。）

Sibujaya – 陈玫凤

目前还在预备新聚点，新聚点会是一个学习及服务中心。

  1. 目前十分缺乏老师，求神预备委身的补习班以及兴趣班的老师。
  2. 目前也在寻找青少年，求神带领，找回迷失的羊。
  3. 过后星期日的主日学也会换到新聚点，帮助现有的小朋友可以适应，不会因为换聚点而不来了。

古晋西教区客语事工 – 蔡建清和蔡晓虹夫妇

  1. 感恩，二月份(到二月二十八日)能接触到33位新的客家脸孔。已顺利地在玛丽哈堂、马当堂、主恩堂、磐石堂及新尧湾堂分享客家福音事工计划与策略。
  2. 为三月十五日晚在培元路一家进行的福音晚餐代祷。求圣灵先在他们家族心里做松土的工作，福音种子落土生长。
  3. 求神加强壮大福音队伍。
